For Authors
Submit ManuscriptThe Texas Tech Law Review is a general-topic law review that publishes four books annually. Books one and two are edited in the fall and released shortly after the start of the spring semester. Books three and four ared edited in the spring and released during the summer.
Each year, the Texas Tech Law Review publishes articles on a wide range of topics, although the journal has a preference for articles with particular applicability to Texas. We accept submissions from professors, judges, and attorneys. We do not, however, accept submissions from current law school students outside of the Texas Tech Law Review.
For all submissions, please include a cover letter and CV. Although not required, manuscripts should be in the the following format:
- 12 point, Times New Roman Font for both Text and Footnotes
- Double-spaced text
- Single-spaced footnotes
- A table of contents
The journal has no length or word count requirements. We ask that all propositions of law or fact be supported with footnotes in conformity with the latest edition of the Bluebook. For specific submission inquiries, please contact Christian Shaffer, Lead Articles Editor, at christian.shaffer@ttu.edu.
